      • Przemyslaw Kabalski
        is interested in cultural, social, psychological, organisational and various other aspects of accounting. He has researched, among others, the relationship between personality as well as gender and preferences in the field of accounting policy, stereotypes about the accounting profession, barriers to the advancement of women in this profession, and professional burnout in occupations related to accounting. The originator of the idea of the Centre and its manager. He works as a university Professor, PhD at the Department of Accounting of the Faculty of Management at the University of Lodz.

      • Nelli Artienwicz
        studies the cognitive and neural basis of decision-making in the accounting environment, the use of metaphors and analogies in the understanding of accounting principles, and the issue of stress and mental resilience of accounting specialists. She mainly conducts experimental research at the intersection of accounting and psychology. At the same time, she is an instructor and coach in the field of soft skills (including personal energy management, assertiveness in the work of an accountant, thinking processes management, and anti-stress training for accountants).

      • Elżbieta Jaworska
        is primarily interested in the psychological and linguistic as well as social and cultural aspects of accounting. She conducts research in the field of, among others, using impression management strategies in financial and non-financial reporting, accountants' perceptions of the impact of psychological (e.g. cognitive processes, mood, motivation, and stress), social (interpersonal relations) and ethical determinants on reporting information, gender in the context of diversity and the accounting profession, and also the influence of positive emotions on learning accounting. She works at the Department of Economics and Accounting of the Faculty of Economics at the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin (PhD).

      • Dominika Korzeniowska
        is interested in the psychosocial determinants of decision-making by people associated with accounting and finance, as well as activities of companies from the business services sector (BPO/SSC/GBS). In her scientific work, she appreciates an opportunity to deepen knowledge about the nature of phenomena with the use of qualitative methods. She works as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Sociology University at the University of Lodz (PhD).

      • Ewa Wanda Maruszewska
        is interested in ethics in accounting, issues related to the application of international financial reporting regulations, accounting for business combinations and the use of modern cost accounting. In these areas, she conducts interdisciplinary quantitative and qualitative research (using questionnaires, interviews and experiments among accountants, tax advisers, etc.). She works as a university Professor, PhD at the Department of Computer Science and International Accounting at the University of Economics in Katowice.

      • Marta Nowak
        is interested in the psychological, ethical, social, cultural, linguistic and managerial aspects of accounting. Using qualitative, psychometric and experimental methods, she conducts individual and team research on issues such as: the perception of professions related to accounting (accountants, statutory auditors, controllers), the perception of work in the field of accounting, professional burnout of people associated with accounting, the perception of time by people associated with accounting, behavioural aspects of budgeting, career management and motivation to work in accounting professions. She works as a university Professor, PhD at the Department of Cost Account, Taxes Management and Controlling of the Faculty of Management at the University of Economics in Wroclaw.

      • Joanna Szwajcar
        combines her scientific passion for accounting with professional practice in this field. Her scientific interests, apart from the issues of accounting related to employee benefits, focus on the social and organisational aspects of accounting with particular emphasis on the work environment of accountants. Recently, she has been researching work-related burnout among accountants and in other accounting professions. She is employed in a research and teaching position at the Department of Accounting of the Faculty of Management at the University of Lodz. At the Centre, apart from research, she deals with organisational issues.
